Going Back in Time

One of the fun surprises in this rebranding and formatting of this site it seeing images that have been hiding on my hard drive that I’ve forgotten about. Sometimes it’s finding an image that was simply passed over but now seems like it shouldn’t have been.  Today, image is the latter.

Taken a few years ago during my first (and, to this day only) visit to Yosemite.  This is, of course, Tunnel View made famous by Ansel Adams and photographed by thousands of others.  This one was taken at dawn.  I spent three wonderful days at Yosemite and most of that time in a 1 on 1 experience with the well know, William Neill.  the image reminds me of the few days we spent together.  If you’ve never had a personalized workshop like this, I highly recommend it and if you decide to spend time at Yosemite, I highly recommend Bill.  Not only did I learn a lot from the experience but he’s such a great guy, a warm soul and we just had a blast.
